BIGBANG’s 2026 U.S. Tour Is Finally Here—What Fans Need to Know

BIGBANG is back on a U.S. stage in September—but the useful part is simpler than the comeback noise. The official tour calendar currently shows two Oakland concerts and one East Rutherford date, with tickets routed through AXS and Ticketmaster. The group is touring as G-DRAGON, TAEYANG, and DAESUNG, and its first new single in more than four years arrived on August 19.

BIGBANG’s 2026 U.S. dates at a glance

The official XX : COSMOS tour page lists three U.S. concerts. All times are local to the venue.

Date City and venue Time Official seller
Fri., Sept. 4 Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum, Oakland 8 p.m.
Doors: 6 p.m.
AXS
Sat., Sept. 5 Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum, Oakland 8 p.m.
Doors: 6 p.m.
AXS
Fri., Sept. 11 MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey 8 p.m. Ticketmaster

That is the complete U.S. run shown on the tour page as of this check—not a rumored-date list. YG’s current calendar also routes each Oakland date to its own AXS event page and the New Jersey date to Ticketmaster. If a new city is added later, the official calendar is the page worth bookmarking.

Why this comeback feels bigger than a normal anniversary tour

There are three separate comeback beats landing at once. BIGBANG marked its 20th anniversary on August 19, released the digital single BiiiG that evening, and opened its first group world tour in roughly nine years with three sold-out shows at Goyang Stadium from August 21 through 23. YG’s August announcement describes the updated tour as 33 performances across 19 cities through February 2027.

The timing matters. Plenty of legacy K-pop acts reunite for a single anniversary stage; BIGBANG is attempting a stadium-scale international run with fresh music. The September dates put the Bay Area first, then move the show to MetLife Stadium one week later. That makes the U.S. leg compact—and leaves less room to “wait for another nearby date” unless the official schedule changes.

Who is actually in BIGBANG in 2026?

The group’s current lineup is G-DRAGON, TAEYANG, and DAESUNG. That is the trio named in YG’s anniversary announcement and the lineup attached to the comeback. Older search results and archival group photographs may show five members, which is why a current lineup check is more useful than assuming a decade-old profile still applies.

If you are returning after the MADE era, expect the members’ solo identities to matter more, not less. G-DRAGON’s fashion-driven art-pop, TAEYANG’s R&B performance style, and DAESUNG’s vocal and variety-show presence now arrive with years of separate work behind them. The interesting question is not whether the trio can imitate an older lineup. It is how those three sharper individual identities fit inside a BIGBANG set in 2026.

How to buy without getting pulled into a fake listing

  1. Start at the official tour calendar. Follow its “Get Tickets” button to AXS for Oakland or Ticketmaster for East Rutherford.
  2. Match the exact date and venue. Oakland has two separate event pages. MetLife has one.
  3. Read the ticket label. On AXS, standard and official-resale inventory can appear together. AXS says tickets marked “AXS Official Resale” are guaranteed valid.
  4. Do not treat a screenshot as a ticket. The FTC warns that fake sellers may use copycat sites or sell the same seat repeatedly. Use the seller’s app or account transfer flow.
  5. Check the all-in total before paying. Availability and price can move in real time. This article does not freeze or quote a price that may disappear by checkout.

Our rule: if a link did not come from the artist’s tour page, stop and verify the domain before entering payment details.

Accessible seating is linked separately on the AXS event pages. For MetLife, use the accessibility options and help routes on the Ticketmaster event page rather than buying a random seat first and hoping it can be exchanged later.

What we know about BiiiG—and what we do not

YG announced BiiiG as an August 19 digital single and the group’s first new music since Still Life in April 2022. The agency’s description frames the title as a play on the group’s name and scale. That is a company description, not an independent review.

What has not been published on the official tour page is just as important: there is no full U.S. set list there. Fans can reasonably expect the new single to matter, but a specific song order—or a promise that every older hit will appear—would be guesswork. If you are building a pre-show playlist, use the new track as the starting point and treat fan-posted set lists as snapshots from one night, not a contract for the next.

The practical verdict

This is a real comeback, not a vague “world tour coming soon” teaser. Three U.S. dates are live on official seller pages, the current trio is clearly identified, and new music is already out. Our view: the rarity of the reunion is the hook, but the artistic value will depend on whether the trio treats its history as material to reinterpret rather than a museum display. The practical part should stay unsentimental—compare the final total, use the platform’s protected transfer or resale system, and recheck the official calendar before booking travel.
