K-Trend Desk is the organizational byline responsible for source-driven work published by K-Trend.
What the Desk does
Depending on the article, the Desk may locate official Korean and U.S. sources, compare product pages and campaign materials, translate or summarize Korean-language records, organize evidence, build decision tables, draft and edit copy, check rights documentation, and maintain articles after publication.
The Desk’s role is to make a reader’s decision clearer. A page should answer one defined search intent, distinguish confirmed facts from inference, add an original comparison or editorial evaluation, and state what the available evidence cannot prove.
Evidence and editorial judgment
Official and primary sources are preferred for product specifications, shade names, ingredients, launch dates, prices, availability, campaign credits, schedules, and policy claims. Secondary reporting may provide context when it is independently useful. Search snippets, social reactions, and unattributed summaries serve only as discovery aids.
K-Trend’s analysis is identified by its reasoning. For example, the Desk may compare the role of products in a campaign look or explain which official shade route is easiest to reproduce. That assessment is an editorial conclusion, not a claim that a celebrity privately uses, owns, or recommends the product.
Contributor and method attribution
When firsthand work materially supports an article, K-Trend names the contributor and publishes the method, date, scope, and relevant limitations. Source-based analysis remains identified by its sources, reasoning, and editorial criteria.
Images, independence, and corrections
Images must have a recorded publication right. K-Trend’s current policy prohibits generative editorial images and the unlicensed reuse of images from blogs, news pages, retailers, search results, or social posts.
K-Trend is currently supported only by Google display advertising. It earns no affiliate commissions and publishes no sponsored content under the approved model. Commercial considerations do not control an article’s conclusion.
For the complete rules, see Editorial Standards, Sources & Methodology, and Corrections Policy.
To question a claim or source, email hello@k-trend.me with the page URL, the exact statement at issue, and a reliable supporting source.
