Corrections Policy

K-Trend corrects material errors and distinguishes them from ordinary updates. We welcome specific, evidence-based notices about facts, translations, product details, campaign credits, calculations, links, image rights, or wording that overstates the available evidence.

How to report an issue

Email hello@k-trend.me with the subject line Correction request and include:

  • the full K-Trend page URL;
  • the exact sentence, table entry, caption, image, or link at issue;
  • the correction or qualification you believe is needed;
  • a reliable supporting source, preferably official or primary; and
  • any time-sensitive context, such as the market, date, formula, or campaign involved.

Please do not send passwords, payment information, government identifiers, medical records, or other sensitive personal information.

What counts as a correction

A correction addresses a factual or evidentiary error in the published page. Examples include a wrong product name, shade assignment, date, price, quantity, ingredient claim, market, campaign credit, translation, source characterization, image credit, or statement that presents an editorial match as verified use.

A material correction may receive a visible note when the original error could have changed a reader’s understanding or decision. The note should identify what changed without repeating unnecessary personal information.

Updates and checked dates

An update adds or replaces material information after publication, such as a new official product page, changed launch date, corrected brand route, revised schedule, reformulation, or documented availability change. Updated should appear only when the article itself changed materially.

A Last checked date records when volatile information was verified. Changing a source link, formatting, typo, metadata field, or image compression setting does not by itself justify a new visible update date.

Routine edits

Spelling, punctuation, accessibility labels, broken-link repair, layout, and other changes that do not alter meaning may be corrected without a public note. A routine edit must not be used to hide a material correction or create false freshness.

Review process

K-Trend reviews the cited page, the challenged wording, the strongest available source, and the scope of the claim. We may correct the statement, add a limitation, replace a source, remove unsupported language, hold the page for a larger rewrite, or explain why the existing wording remains supported.

K-Trend does not promise a response time or guarantee a response to every message. A correction request does not purchase coverage, removal, or favorable treatment.
